Starting a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the University of West Attica this October — building free technology at the intersection of AI and social impact, creator of Scholarships Hub and a Language Assistant, and founding member of two youth-led organisations.
My name is Mustakim Ahmed Rahim, and I'm from Sylhet, Bangladesh, with a deep passion for technology, artificial intelligence, and building digital solutions that create meaningful social impact. This October, I'll begin a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the University of West Attica. I believe technology should not only solve problems but expand access to education and opportunity — regardless of background or financial circumstance.
Both of my major projects launched in 2024. In July, I built a Language Assistant — an AI-powered tool that now supports 10+ languages, letting learners pick any two and study between them, whether that's English to Bangla, Bangla to Spanish, Chinese to Japanese, or German to French. That December, I launched Scholarships Hub, a free website that helps students discover scholarship opportunities from around the world, bringing reliable listings together in one place to make higher education more accessible to those who dream of studying abroad.
In 2024, I received the Silver Award in The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition, judged by the Royal Commonwealth Society — an honor that strengthened my confidence in communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
Beyond technology, I believe in contributing through voluntary service. I'm a founding member of Protiva Songo, a charitable organisation I helped start in 2020 alongside a community of over 2,000 volunteers during the early stages of COVID-19, and one of the 14 founding members of Dreams On The Way, a youth-led organisation promoting education, leadership, and women's empowerment across Sylhet.
Both Scholarships Hub and the Language Assistant are, and always will be, free — because I believe access to knowledge should never be limited by what someone can afford.
Two platforms born from the same idea — that access to education shouldn't depend on what you can pay.
